Chantilly Farm was named after our Thoroughbred Mare, "Chantilly Lace."  "Lacey," as we call her, is a beautiful dark bay mare.  Standing at 16.1 hands with a white blaze and two white hind socks, she exhibits beauty and refinement.  We purchased her as a filly and I have shown her successfully through third level.    She has produced four quality offspring, three fillies and one colt.  Lacey was accepted into the American Hanoverian Society's Studbook and passed her Performance Test with an overall score of 7.67.  Her wonderful temperament and lovely gaits have been passed on to her babies listed below.  Lacey is not for sale.

"Okee" is a 1996 Dutch cross filly by Obelisk (Talisman XX, Transtevere XX) out of What About Mom XX ["Lacey"] (What About It XX, Vitriolic XX). She is definitely a barn favorite here at Chantilly!  She has personality plus and is always game for anything.  Okee has scored in the high 60's at recognized dressage shows, but her love tends to be jumping. She has shown successfully at schooling shows where she is always in the ribbons.  In the hunter division she has shown in adult amateur and children hunter.  She has won many championships in her division.   She is a gorgeous bright red bay with a large blaze and one hind sock.  Okee stands at 15.3 hands, but don't let her size fool you.  She is big-bodied with a 13 foot stride.  Her walk exhibits a huge over stride, her trot is big with lots of suspension, and her canter is easy to sit.  She is very confident over jumps and has clean changes in both directions.  Okee is proficient in both first and second level movements..  This mare is bombproof and is often used as a lesson horse.  Okee is looking for a junior rider or adult amateur to take to shows and win blue ribbons.  She also likes trail rides and exploring new places.   This mare has no health issues and had clean x rays taken 17 months ago.   She has never been lame.  She trailers easily and she has no problems with clipping or any other ground work.    Email us to request an email clip of Okee jumping.   If you would like a full video to be sent to you please call 941-722-0350.  The video shows a jump course of 2'6" and 3'.  However height is not an issue.  We are asking $25,000 but will be negotiable especially to a great home.  We love this mare but she deserves someone that will give her full attention.  Please only persons over the age 18 call.

Sold  Congratulation to Sandy Kuzhnizki  in Hudson.  Gilly's name is now Angel and Sandy and her are quite happy together.  Many years of fun ahead.  You deserve it Sandy!!!!!

Gilly" is a 2000 branded Hanoverian cross filly by Gold Luck (Grundstein, Graphit) out of What About Mom XX ["Lacey"] (What About It XX, Vitriolic XX).  She will probably mature to at least 16 hands.  Big boned, with a terrific hind end, Gilly is  bay with lots of chrome on her face and hind socks.  She has an easy and 'laid back' personality.   Gilly loads and trailers quietly, clips, stands for the farrier, and loves baths.    Her gaits are very balanced with lots of hock action and free shoulder movement.  She was imprinted at birth and handles new experiences with a cool, calm manner.  Gilly's work so far has included lunging with side reins, going on trail rides, and minimum ring work at walk and trot.  At this point we have cantered once and it was very smooth just like her other gaits.  Any rider,  beginner or experienced,  will feel at home on this horse's back.    Gilly is looking for an owner who will fuss over her and spoil her with lots of attention.  Her dressage career looks promising.    Video Available.   Please contact us for more information.

Sold  Congratulations to Kathy Wheeler in Mississippi.  Kathy has been looking for a horse to further herself in Dressage and Legit is the man for the job.  Happy half passes, collections,  extensions and flying changes to you both.  Have fun dancing!!!

"Legit" came to us from a hunter barn who recognized his potential as an upper level dressage horse.  After only four months of training, he competed at first level and received scores in the high 60's.  A few months later, he competed at third level and also scored in the 60's.  Legit is an extremely refined and gorgeous gelding.  His sleek coat is a beautiful liver chestnut with white on his face and three stockings.  He is 16.1 hands and built uphill enabling him to do movements such as pirouettes with ease.  His lateral work and extensions are breathtaking.  Most recently Legit received a 58.837 in a Fourth Level Test.  His half passes, extensions and shoulder-ins all earned him a 7.  The flying lead changes still get him a bit excited which was what lowered his score.  Legit has been used in my lesson program starting students off on the lunge line and working them up to riding  Legit independently.  The students appreciate his sensitivity, willingness and desire to please making him a joy to ride.  Legit is looking for a confident rider with kind hands and a good seat to further his dressage career.  Video available.   Please contact us for more information. Currently asking $6000.00
